| Bushcraft and Nature Retreats |
|
Tailored to your requirements, a bushcraft and nature retreat is a wonderful opportunity to learn traditional skills in a beautiful setting, whilst getting close to nature and stepping back from the business of life. You will have expert tuition to the extent and level that you require.
A bushcraft and nature retreat can be for a day, a weekend or during a week. We will provide delicious meals of fair trade / organic food, locally sourced as far as is reasonably possible, or you can opt to be self-catering outdoors if you prefer. You can sleep in our yurt, in your own shelter or in one of our hammocks!
You may have specific skills you'd like to learn - e.g. fire by friction (bowdrill or hand-drill), making craft items including spoon carving, wild food foraging and preparation, or you may wish to spend time getting close to nature - including deer, birds, foxes, otters and badgers. Please let us know and we'll accommodate your requests.

It's been lovely to spend time in such a peaceful place, I will never forget waking up with the dawn chorus amongst the bluebells! I've learned many new skills that I hope to develop, including fire by friction and how to whittle safely. Thank you Richard and Alison for your hospitality, I definitely intend to come back.
