Bushcraft, Survival and 'Rites of Passage'

For scout groups, youth groups, mens groups, ladies groups, Dads and lads, etc.

Wildside staff provide instruction and training in bushcraft/survival skills - fire, water, food and shelter, also safe use of knives and tools. There will be plenty of opportunity for practice as individuals and in groups.

Richard especially enjoys the excitement of playing stealth games at night without torches, to develop skills of moving safely and silently without being observed.  Those who have been “got by the bear” will probably never forget the experience, and nor will the catcher!

As with all our activities, we provide delicious meals of fair trade / organic food, locally sourced as far as is reasonably possible.

Fantastic opportunity for young people to be involved in this kind of activity.  Enthusiasm and learning opportunities provided by the tutors - outstanding.  Thank you.

J. Ruell, Eco Youth Group.

The scouts enjoyed their "24 hour survival" so much that we are coming back for a 5 day camp in the summer.  The scouts are still talking about what a great time they had.

M. Sluman, Scout leader.
