SCHOOL DAY VISITS @ WILDSIDE
Bring the classroom outdoors for a day of exploration, discovery and hands-on learning. We can shape your visit around your pupils’ ages and curriculum topics, with plenty of opportunities to learn together in the countryside.
A DAY @ WILDSIDE
Our school day visits are full of hands-on activities, outdoor exploration and opportunities to learn together. We’ll plan the day around your pupils’ ages and what you’re studying, with time to enjoy the countryside along the way.
LEARNING OUTDOORS
We can tailor a day visit to what your class is studying, using the countryside as a place to investigate, explore and ask questions. Activities might include discovering habitats and wildlife, exploring environmental topics or bringing a history topic to life through practical outdoor experiences.
A FEW IDEAS FOR YOUR TRIP
Habitats and wildlife, rainforest themes, or a Stone Age day are just some of the topics we can explore outdoors. We can also work with you to shape a day around your class’s current topic.
PLANNING YOUR VISIT
We’ll agree arrival and departure times with your school, allowing for your journey to Wildside and the return trip in time for the end of the school day.
We’ll work with your school to plan activities around your pupils’ ages, curriculum topic and the time you have with us.
Children should bring a packed lunch and a drink for the day. We’ll make time for lunch as part of the visit.
